John turned 2! Not too bad of a mess, but his birthday was the moment he understood that birthday equals cake, ice cream, and presents. Now he LOVES birthday parties!
We picked apples last weekend. Too hot to really enjoy it for long, but long enough to get pictures, and for him to get the idea. Eve really wasn't into it. Imagine that.

Grandma Bucky brought the family christening gown to us when she was here this summer. I'll have to get her to send me the whole story. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We got a few pictures of Eve in it. Unfortunately they turned out pretty dark. Maybe we can give it another try, but it really is beautiful!
