Another fun Halloweenie!  We stuck with the Ketchup and Mustard, Jake was Ironman (interesting fact, he never wore the mask or looked at the camera...Buck is so clever), John was Deoxis (a Pokémon) Buck made his costume and John helped a little.  Super cool.  Will was a dragon and would have nothing to do with the hat.  Eve was a Clemson twirler, and Ellie was a Clemson cheerleader.  I was really pleased with how their costumes came together.
This was how Jake preferred to wear his costume.  I finally had to pin it together in the back.  Jake probably enjoyed Halloween the most.  I manned the grill while Buck took the kids trick-or-treating, but I hear he was very excited to say "Trick or treat" and "Thank you!" at every door.  When he got back he sat quietly in a chair and ate candy until we made him go inside to bed.  Apparently he thought he had to eat it all in one night...and he did a pretty good job.  He's a big fan of Halloween!

Our neighbor, Eric, is a senior in high school now.  He was in Kindergarten when we moved in.  Wow.  At one of our first Halloweenies, maybe the first, he dressed as Elvis and played songs for everyone, making them up as he went.  He's been taking lessons for several years, and played more years that not along the way.  Now he's quite good and in a band.  He told us as we were setting up that he wasn't going to play this year.  I told him we gave him his start, and he better not be too good for us now.  Buck said he expected the whole band.  I guess we're good at making people feel guilty.  They played all night, and I have to say, it wasn't quite as cute as his first performance, but was a lot more fun to listen to.
Grandma and our friends Shannon and Dana came to help.  We couldn't pull this off without help!
346 hotdogs served this year, and we probably couldn't done another 50.  Another super fun year!

Will is ONE!

This happened...and I'm in denial.

What a sweet little boy we have!  I love every roll!  Will is a chatterbox, although he doesn't really have any words yet.  He talks with his hands and motions to everything as he babbles away.  He has started to play ball.  He hands the ball to someone, expects them to hand it back, and then repeats several times.  It's probably his favorite game.  He loves to be outside.  He loves to eat.  He wants whatever you're having.  He likes to read (i.e. point to pictures and flip pages around) for short periods of time.  He enjoys his siblings, but is already quite a professional tattler when they've taken something from him or done something he doesn't like.  He will push Jake out of my lap (and vice versa).  He walks with purpose, belly out, and usually straight toward someone with arms open wide for a big hug.  He is such a love bug, and I have to say that's my favorite part.  I so love this little boy.
