10 Fingers 10 Toes...

10 Months before you know! 10 months have flown by! (Especially since I just posted her 9 month picture a week or so ago). Ellie is a great eater! Can you tell? She still nurses 2 or 3 times a day, eats almost anything we put in front of her...and that's almost anything, and loves her straw sippie cup. She's cheated and had strawberries, cake, ice cream (thought the cold might bother her, but she didn't give it a second thought) and peanut butter. Perks of being #3. She pretty much bypassed baby food and eats most of what we eat unless it's too much for only 2 teeth to handle. She's still a very happy baby, but likes to have someone's attention (preferrably Mom's). Her new-found love is clapping. She discovered it yesterday while we were having a family dance party. She loved watching John and Eve dance, as did I. She kind of waves sometimes, but I don't think it's intentional yet. She's still a little sensitive and a bit of a drama queen but we'll see what becomes of that as she starts bumping her head more often. The time is coming soon because she's easily pulling up on things and daring to let go sometimes. So far she's either caught herself or been cushioned by her diaper. The fall is still inevitable because she has no balance, but she's brave to let go. Oh, and she's at the stage where she thinks it's hilarious when something falls off your head. It's fun when it's easy to make them laugh. What a treat! She really is a doll.
