Mama's So Funny

Eve laughed today! I've heard her do something that I think was her version of laughing (sounds like a deep-throat gasp), but today she finally gave me a little chuckle. I know if Papa had a little more time with her, she would've been laughing long ago, and belly laughing by now. He was always the first to get a baby to laugh. She finally did it, though, and it was so fun to hear.
John has learned to pass blame on passing gas. We are such bad parents...we've made it such a laughing matter. I know that's going to come back to bite us. We have so much fun with it, though. We'll ask "Did you toot?" and John laughs and says "No, Mama toot" or "No, Daddy toot", or even better, he blames it on his little sister! He seems to throw her under the bus a lot. He was in a funk the other day. I thought he might be getting those 2-year molars in, but he said his mouth didn't hurt. Anyway, even after his nap he woke up in a funk, so I asked him if he had PMS. His answer (not having a CLUE what PMS is), "No not. John not PMS. Baby Eve PMS." Probably another one that will come back to bite me. It's only a matter of time before he asks me, or even worse, asks a teacher or nursery worker, or some random lady at the grocery store. He's tried to pass the blame on stinky diapers, but those are SO obvious, it's hard to convince anyone.
