Sleepover and Zoo

Sleepover update...took less than 20 minutes for them to both go to sleep, but Eve fell asleep right in front of the door, so we couldn't get a good peek later. Of course, we were both trying to peep into the door with flashlights. It was funny. I could tell that John was in the bed and Eve had finally found some security with boudries (the wall and the dresser made a nice corner). We had the monitor turned way up just in case, but turned it down when Eve's snoring kept us awake (she's had a nasty cold). After a while she started talking in her sleep, which turned to crying around 2:30. Since I didn't want John to wake up, the sleepover moved to our room. Shortly thereafter, I snuck into John's room to retrieve Eve's mattress and pacifier. Sleepover over. Oh well, nice try.
I forgot to mention before that John got a spiderman watch for Easter. The top flips up so you can see the time. It's so funny because every time we ask him what time it is, he flips it up, looks, flips it back, and announces either "ten o'clock" or "four o'clock". He's getting lazy now, though, and doesn't always look at it, but it was cute while it lasted.
Yesterday we went to the Riverbanks Zoo for the first time since Buck and I started dating. Mom came with us. It was so crowded! We all had a great time, but where ready for naps when we came home. Eve liked the fish most. She LOVED them, reached for them and talked to them. John was a big fan of the farm, and I guess the whole experience in general. We saw some tortoises sleeping in a dog house-type building. John walked up and announced when he saw them "they're sleeping. They need their chupas (pacifiers)." I think he also said the sharks were looking for something...had to be their chupas. I'm guessing he'll have those until his wedding day, but he's been telling me when he needs to go potty, so I'll take the tradeoff.
