Superheroes

Buck has always enjoyed comic books, so naturally he has shared this joy with John. John LOVES superheroes. He plays superheroes with his friends at school (typically he is Ironman, Calob is Iceman, and Aidan Turner changes with his mood). John loves having comic book time with Daddy as a special treat. Today he even started a superhero story in the car. It went sort of like this..."Remember when I was a baby and I climbed the ladder, walked over the bridge, and slid down the pole onto the train and held on tight?" He then got into the details of his costume and how we should make a comic book where he and Eve were both like Magneto and both got to be Ironman. Very creative. Little did I know, though, that I'd have a daughter that before the age of 2 could identify The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Wolverine, and Ironman. I'm pretty sure she knows spiderman because she makes the sound John makes for spinning a web, but she's never tried to say Spiderman. She's got a great teacher, and he enjoys playing the role of teacher as well as sharing his knowledge. She LOVES Ironman, just like John, though, and when we went to Burger King for a kids meal and Ironman was the special toy and on the posters everywhere, you've never seen such excited kids. Here's a little snippet of their learning sessions...
