Around New Years we had a very special visit. My very dear friend since middle school, Laura, dropped in from Washington State with her family for a quick visit. We realized over the holidays that we've been friends for 22 years! Holy cow! Clearly a lot has changed in that time. Our friendship is one of the things I hold dearest. I am so thankful she and Jonas took the trouble to drop in so I could hug her neck and Jake could meet his future Clemson roommate and partner in crime (exactly one week older).
