Portland - Day 1

I'm finally getting around to looking through pictures, and I can't believe we actually crammed that much stuff into a week! I have pictures from 4 or 5 cameras, so this is going to take a while. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Bucky, Aunt Michelle, and Miss Kendra for sharing! They certainly captured a lot I missed, and Grandma Bucky spent lots of time sorting, readjusting, and sending them all to us.

SO, we arrived late at night Saturday. Sunday morning we woke up to a wonderful brunch at Aunt Michelles. Everyone pitched in (except us...kind of the theme for the week).

Eve was a little unsure with a bunch of new people in a new place, but Uncle Greg and Isabel quickly found the ticket to making friends...FOOD

Tully didn't share food, but I think her size made her a favorite of John and Eve.

Later we went into downtown Portland to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) - Thank you Christopher and Kendra for treating. I could have spent days in there. It was awesome. But, we spent most of our time in a cool room they had for 0-5 year olds...very hands-on. The kids loved it.

He loved the magnifying glass

Oh, and Aunt Shannon popped in for a surprise visit! What a nice treat. She certainly knows how to entertain boys.

This was a cool water table...complete with aprons and boots

I think this blew air to suspend a ball. Eve made her own science lessons, but still had a great time, too.
Later in the evening we had a BBQ at Michelles and I think a campfire with music from Dad and Uncle Christopher (but my memory is fuzzy already). John enjoyed the fire, but didn't want to get too close...fortunately.
