Portland - Day 2

Monday was Labor Day, so we had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Bucky's house. Their back yard is unbelievable gorgeous, and it was a beautiful day, well, only a tiny bit of rain. These are totally out of order, but order wasn't so important for this laid-back day.

Aunt Michelle, Uncle Rob, Isabel, Kaleb, Daddy, and JohnNot sure what was going on here, but looks like Grandpa Bucky is basking in his Grandpaness.

Cristina and Sharon were able to come after Cristina won her soccer tournament. No day with the Buckinghams is complete without a little soccer. Cristina, Isabel, Uncle Greg, and Aunt Michelle. Oh, and Tully played too.

Grandma and Grandpa Bucky allowed John to continue his birthday with a bunch of gifts (and more throughout the week!) I suppose spoiling is a grandparent's job. John and Eve certainly enjoyed it.

John really enjoyed the cherry tomatoes...and at one point put two in his mouth at the same time. Here is what resulted.

It was hilarious.



Thank goodness he didn't actually pop it!

If there's water, Eve will find it. She also managed to find Grandma Bucky's special rocks. Looks like she may have inherited that gene. She really enjoyed them.

Isabel and Eve really hit it off.
