Baby Steps

It's always hard to say when a baby starts walking. It really is, most of the time, a process. I suppose it's like that with most milestones. Anyway, today I'm finally willing to say Ellie is a walker. I counted 20 steps made on purpose at the pool today. Really she was cut short by the edge of the pool. If it weren't for the potential of falling in, who knows how far she would've gone. Last night she made quite a few steps to get closer and closer to her spoonfull of chocolate ice cream. It's still not her chosen mode of transportation. She'd rather crawl or cruise, but if necessary, she'll take a few baby steps to get what she wants...especially if it's yummy!
