But First...BALLOONS!

On the way home we had completely forgotten about Freedom Weekend Aloft until we crested a hill on the highway and saw these in the distance!

Perfect timing, we managed to catch a field full of balloons landing and dropping their ribbons for the target challenge.

The kids (and adults) absolutely loved it. OK, NOW we can go home. Unfortunately the kids were already in bed the next night when two landed in Mom's pasture. Bummer.
