Two nights ago was HORRIBLE! I suppose this is the norm for a lot of people, and I certainly won't complain. We just aren't used to it because John and Eve have always been great sleepers. Anyway, Eve woke up at, well, middle of the night...I lost track of time. She was up and down all night, and woke John up once. So we thought they were sick (John had been the day before), but they seemed better. So we went to the pool. Big smile from Eve, and what do you know...she's got another tooth! It's on the bottom to her left of the two already there. I checked the top because they tend to come earlier. Both are really swollen, but look like they still have a while to go. BUT lo and behold, today the other bottom one has popped out of nowhere. All of a sudden she's got 6...FINALLY! No wonder she was so uncomfortable the other night.
Oh, and I knew it was only a matter of time, but today I walked into the kitchen to find her standing on the table. T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!
A note about John. He has really gotten into imaginative play and it is so fun to sit and listen to. He particularly likes his trains, and is talking back and forth between them all the time. Also fun to listen to was his conversation and play time with a little girl at the pool. Innocent tickle fights were cute, and at the same time a scary peek into the future. I was proud of him, though. He really doesn't play with other kids. This was a big step. Their conversation was hilarious.
