And snow...and snow...and snow some more! One full week back to school after Christmas break, and we got the snow storm to start Christmas break part 2. We got about 8 inches between Sunday night and Monday. I'm pretty sure it's the most in this area since 1988. It was lots of fun, but closed things down for a good portion of the week, and with teacher work day on Friday and MLK day Monday, it made for a good long break. Even the mail carriers didn't make their rounds! Anyway, the kids loved it. Unfortunately we didn't have a sled. Note to self...

Since it was cold, a good portion of our time was spent with popcorn and movies. How sweet are these two? Eve actually had her head rested on his shoulder for a while, but I was too slow getting the camera.

These are out of order. This was actually Day 2. Roads were still pretty bad since we're not set up for this sort of thing. We had a fun walk to the playground for a great snowball fight in the tree fort. So glad Buck couldn't get to work!

Eve ate every piece of snow she could find...no matter how dirty. That's my girl!

All 3 in the frame. This is the best I could do. They're easily distracted without the snow. You can imagine the snow adds a nice new challenge.

I think John looks so big and handsome in this picture! He loved throwing snowballs.

Ellie enjoyed it from the warm confines of her wagon.
