Yesterday Ellie woke up crying from her nap. John heard her from his room and decided to go be a sweet big brother (he often does this). He got up onto our bed, where Ellie takes her naps, gave her his bunny, and started singing. I'm not sure exactly what words he sang, but he intended to sing "Don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing's gonna be alright". He knew the every little thing's gonna be alright part. He heard it on Nick Jr., but how sweet is that? Oh, he makes me melt.
Movement update...Ellie is getting around quite nicely by spinning around in a seated position one direction, then the other. She can actually cover quite a bit of distance. She's also now able to go pretty easily from sitting to a crawling position, then back to sitting. She's moving backwards a bit, and today I saw her very clearly on hands and knees with a good gap between her belly and the floor. It's coming! Time to clean up!
Speaking of movement, Eve pooped on the potty today! She so wants to wear her underwear. I'm just not really sure how to get her there. She's still one step behind rather than one step ahead, but I'm so proud of her today!
