New Tricks

Ellie has learned to give kisses on command. She thinks it's the greatest and grins after she's given one, then keeps giving them since it's the greatest. I think it's the greatest too. For the record, Daddy taught her that trick and deserves lots of credit.
Yesterday John swam all the way across the width of the pool. It's 7 or 8 lanes. He was pretty tired when he finished, but did it all without stopping. I was so proud!
I don't suppose this is a trick, but sounds like she's got one up her sleeve. I took Eve to run errands this morning and we shared a cookie at Panera. I asked her a few questions that had interesting answers. The last was my favorite...
"What makes you happy?"
"Um, frogs."
"What makes you sad?"
"Transformers"
"What are you going to be when you grow up?"
"4"
"OK, but when you get older, what are you going to do? Like John thinks he might work construction. What do you think you might do"
"Count my money."
