10 Fantastic Years

On September 27 we celebrated 10 fantastic years of marriage.  Sure, we've been through a host of emotions and experiences, and not all have been blissful, but I couldn't have asked for a more perfect-for-me man to share those years with.  To say God has blessed us with each other and so much more is a dreadful understatement.
When we got married, my crazy fun aunts tried their best to be on their best behavior, but they've always got to do something to shake things up a bit.  They went to the dollar store and bought some fun hats to bring out in the pictures after we had finished the serious pictures.  If only I had a scanner...  Anyway, the hats were so fun during the family pictures, my aunts decided to go back to the dollar store on the way to the reception and buy them out.  They passes several hats out, and most people at the reception had one on at least at one time or another.  For several years people asked, "What was with the hats?  Is it some sort of family tradition or something?"  Everyone really had fun with them.  I'd have to say, aside from the getting married part and getting to see so many special people in one day, the hats were probably my favorite thing from the wedding.  Fortunately I saved a few, so for our anniversary, I pulled them out and we had a little fun with them.  The kids loved them.

But let's be honest.  After 10 years and with 4 crazy kids, this picture is probably the most accurate.
