Another piece of fall we squeezed into Fall Break was a trip to Sky Top orchard. It's one of my favorite places. It's beautiful! We would've rather gone with Buck, but it's gotten to be such a popular place that the weekends are crazy. It was so fun to have Marco, Bella, and Grandma with us, though.
The kids spent almost all of their time in the trees. It made me think of the book Caps For Sale...just a bunch of monkeys.
Jake really enjoyed munching on the apples, and I let him until he started choking on bigger pieces. From then on it was a constant battle to catch him each time he snuck one from the basket. He got really angry when we took them away.
I realized I don't have many pictures of John. He was all business. We stayed there most of the day, and they didn't want to leave when it was finally time to go. It was a really fun day, topped off with Sky Top's signature apple cider doughnuts. Now if we could only find the time to make those apples into a few pies...
