Pumpkins

Over fall break we tried to get as much "fall" in as possible.  Since we weren't going to the pumpkin patch for a few weeks, we went ahead and got our pumpkins from the "patch" on main street and carved them early.  I love the cheap chisels they sell at the grocery store and Target.  John, Eve, and Ellie were each able to do most of the work on their own, and they loved it!

Jake wasn't overly interested in the goo, but not overly disgusted by it either.  He was most interested in beating the pumpkin like a drum.  We also caught him munching on random pumpkin seeds that had been lost on the floor for days.

Now where would all these kids get such a silly idea...
