Royalty, etc.

I have lots to catch up on, so here goes...

A few weeks ago we went to the lake with some friends. We had a blast! John and Eve loved the boat, and John really enjoyed fishing with Miss Suzie. He was so patient and good at it. Didn't catch anything, but enjoyed it no less.

Then two weekends ago we went to Maddie's princess #3 birthday party. The invitation said "wear your favorite royal attire". Off to Burger King we went. I also had a gold lamé '70s shirt that worked (sort-of) as a royal robe. Fortunately Suzie passed out shirts for the boys. John's said "Sir John the Strong". Perfect. Anyway, we had a blast, and then the horses showed up on the back yard and we had even more fun. I think you can see by John's face...he LOVED it. I love how expressive he is. With his voice, his face, everything. It's so fun.

Suzie also gave us the princess outfit and it fit Eve perfectly!

Last year at Maddie's party John got naked (went swimming in the kiddie pool that was intended for fishing). I'd say limiting himself to climbing a tree this year is an accomplishment. Sure was fun, too.

This one is random, but I had to have a record of it. Eve's pigtails are so darn cute. Everywhere we go people at least look, and almost everyone says something. They always come out during her nap, though, and as you can see...when you unleash the pigtails, you unleash CRAZY EVE! Not the best picture, but you can kind of get the idea. It's hilarious.
