I fought hard to get Eve to take her chupas (pacifiers) rather than her thumb. Daddy (Papa) told me I would never win that battle. He never got to see it, but as you can see I finally won. For 2 years or so she's had an obsession.
Tonight was a big night. I randomly suggested today that we put Eve's chupas in a build-a-bear. Surprisingly she thought it was a good idea. I figured I should capitalize on the moment and do it, so...we did! She picked a Hello Kitty.
She had no problem putting in her yellow and pink chupas.
All smiles! On her way up to bed she asked one time if I could take them back out, but when I said no, she accepted it and went to bed nicely! Yay! Let's hope that lasts. You've come a long way, baby!

Eve, Grandma Bucky is so proud of you for building your kitty and putting your chupas away. Such a big girl and I loved talking to you on the phone. I love you!
