Working Hard

Today is the first day of spring break.  I needed to get some work done in the yard.  According to Buck, we needed to "tie back the peas because they were frontin' on the peppers."  I also needed to mow.  Amazingly, all three kids gathered around a toolbox for almost the entire time working hard on their bikes and examining the tools.  It was awesome!  They were learning and being creative, and I got a lot done outside.  At one point John had removed his front wheel and wedged it between trunks of a "v" shaped tree so it could still spin.  He has the coolest creativity!   I think, just in case, I'll check all the nuts on their bikes before they go for a ride, though.
